Girondins HQ at Le Haillan is closed to the public

HAILLAN - Thursday, March 12, 2020 - 11:33

Starting today (Friday 13th March), members of the public will no longer be allowed to visit the training ground at Le Haillan until further notice.

Following yesterday's presidential announcement regarding the new measures being taken to prevent the propagation of coronavirus covid-19, the club has decided to take action to protect all players and staff at Le Haillan.

The Plaine du Haillan is the home of all our footballing activities, with our professional training centre, our youth academy and other facilities for the men's and ladies' teams.

The site is usually open to the public, with many fans visiting throughout the week. We now need to do everything we can to limit the risk of infection.

In order to protect our teams, access to Girondins HQ at Le Haillan will be restricted to team members and members of the club staff, as of today (13 March) and until further notice.

On Tuesday we announced that our game scheduled for 15th March would be played behind closed doors. It now appears that this will apply to all games until at least 15 April 2020.

Similarly, and also in the interest of protecting the health and well-being of our players and staff, all training sessions will be closed to the public for the foreseeable future.
